Course boundaries

The course boundaries are marked by white pegs behind the green of hole No. 1, on the right side of holes No. 5 and 6, or by an electric fence behind green No. 6, or by a fence on the right side of hole No. 4, or by the nearer edge of the path to the left of holes No. 1 and 9 and to the right of hole No. 7.

Between holes No. 8 and 9 the inner out is marked with white pins, which applies to hole No. 8. These pins are a NON-movable hazard on hole No. 9.

Waste areas

The red sand areas on holes No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and between greens 7 and 9 are not bunkers, they have the status of a field.

Immovable obstructions

All objects as defined, in particular all roads with artificial surface with any immediately adjacent damaged areas and power line poles.

Abnormal course condition

Ground under repair (GUR) is indicated by a dashed white line or blue pins. If the ball lies in a bare spot without grass, or in wild hog damaged areas anywhere on the course, the player may drop the ball to the nearest spot of relief within one club not nearer the hole.

Power line

If the ball hits a wire or cable of an overhead power line, the shot must be canceled and repeated without penalty (see Rule 14.6).

Electric fence

An electric fence is an immovable obstruction. If the ball lies near the el. fence and is in the field and at the same time el. a fence prevents the player from taking a stance, swing or intended swing, the player drops the ball to the nearest place of relief from the obstruction to a distance of one club no closer to the hole.

Penalty area

Area is marked with red or yellow pins or alternatively red or yellow lines.
